I don't say this often, but I think the ad actually undersold the functionality of this smart LED bulb. The inside of the cylinder has an array of pixels. I think they must be RGBWW because you can get the full array of colors and the full array of white light, such as actual warm white (brown, not purple). The app has dozens of preconfigured color patterns, and you can make your own. The installation of the bulb was simple (basically the same size as a regular incandescent bulb). The installation of the app, integration of the bulb with the app and integration with alexa were all very easy. The Alexa integration is actually pretty useful. For example, I can just tell her to put the bulb in campfire mode which is pretty cool.The only downsides i've run into are1. the need to have a dedicated app2. A ton of customization doesn't really work well on such a small format. Still cool tho.3. The color pixels could be a little brighter. The white gets quite bright.4. I am concerned that having the LEDs in an enclosed casing like I do could cause them to overheat. (So far so good tho!)Overall, i'm impressed with the quality and appearance. Very good value.

This Linkind Smart Light Stick is a very cool item, especially for those people (like me) who appreciate specialized lighting tech. There is a lot of information in the product ad that describes this product's capabilities, so I'll try not to dwell on the specs too much (but a little bit at first, then focusing rather on my impression of my personal experience with it at the end. I will say, however, that this bulb is capable of outputting light in any shade of "white" from very warm (almost reddish) to very cool (almost bluish). It can also produce any color of light, red, green, blue, purple, yellow, teal, and on and on - 16.7 colors can be set (that's any combination of the 256 distinct levels possible of red, green and blue).Used as merely a light bulb (albeit one on steroids), it produces about the same brightness of light as a 60 watt incandescent bulb. The variable color temperature is very useful, as during the morning and throughout the day it can be set towards the cooler range of the white spectrum (to help enhance wakefulness and alertness), then warmed up towards evening to produce a more relaxing light as the day winds down. All of this can be controlled and more (such as turning the light on and off on schedules, dimming, etc.) by the home automation systems specified in the product ad, and if that's all that's done with this light I think it would more than be worth the price.Where the Linkind Smart Light Stick really stands apart from other smart lights, however, is by controlling it with the free AIDot app (available for iOS and Android). The light can be used either upright (base down) or upside down (base up) depending on the fixture it is screwed in to. There is an orientation sensor in the device that automatically detects the position and adjusts the effect accordingly (so for example flame effects start at the bottom of the light - like a real flame).

I was surprised at how much this bulb can do, how good it looks, and how easy the ap was to set it up.I was up and running in about 5 minutes. The bulb has so many options. It's not a standard RGB bulb that just gives you different versions of the same colors, this bulb has a ton of preset options and light show type effects, as well as a full spectrum of colors.Nightlight options are great, the dimmer option is nice too.There really aren't any limitations I can find on this bulb as far as being a smart bulb with customizable colors effects. It's fun, and while some of the presents are a little subtle or possibly a little redundant, you still get the option to create your own effects. I've had mine on now for over a week and no issues or glitches.

I have tried a couple of different smart lights so far, but I had just one outside light that I didn't know what to do with until I saw this one! It does flicker like a flame if you want it to, but it doesn't have to. Personally, I don't like flickering lights that much and I don't think this really is enough like a flame for that to stay out of my head, but that mode is still cool nonetheless and I am certain that plenty of people will find it really awesome - that I can see clearly. Apart from that mode, this light is really really good! It is bright, has a ton of custom features, and clearly is quality. Highly recommended!

I ordered the Linkind flame bulb for the flame mode. I will be using it with Halloween decorations.The bulb is quality made. It feels durable. It fit the light fixture with no issues. I have a house full of smart bulbs and I can tell you the Linkind bulb is the easiest to setup and link with your smart home. It literally took a few seconds. No fighting or frustration at all.The bulb has many more modes than flame. The colors are excellent. The bulbs brightness can be adjusted from very bright to dim. I already use the Aidot app which is very easy to use. My Alexa connected to it immediately.The bulbs performance and low price make it a good value. The bulb should add some fun to our Halloween decorations.

I have a very large collection of Phillips Hue smart bulbs, strips, lamps, sync boxes, you name it, and I'm always adding to my collection of fixtures and lamps. Sometimes I'll venture out of the Hue ecosystem to try other brands out or just for a specific use case. I have a few bulbs now from this company, and I think they're on their way to being a player in the smart lighting space. Hue products are great, but they are at least double the price of other smart lighting brands and sometimes even triple the costs. This company has found a sweet spot and delivers decent lighting for the price. This bulb is no different. It has multiple cool lighting options, and everything works well. These bulbs do about 75% of what Hue bulbs do for a third of the price. Some things they actually do better, like the app finding new bulbs quickly. As soon as you turn the bulb on, the app finds it, and it takes maybe 2 minutes to set everything up. The app has a decent amount of scenes, works with smart homes, and can set schedules plus a lot of other things. I would put this company‘s products and app integration right up there with Govee. The pictures/videos don't really do them justice. If you try them, you will like them. If you're getting into smart lighting, they're not a bad place to start. Overall, you can't really go wrong, and I will continue to purchase bulbs from these guys.

I got this because I have been trying more smart lighting options for mood lighting around the house. So many options, colors/dim/etc. I am obsessed

My husband and I have been using smart bulbs for many years now and the other products that we have purchased love to go offline randomly, or not work at all even though the bulbs are perfectly good. They have been a complete and total headache. We found these bulbs and they could not be easier to set up. Where I was setting up the old bulbs would take me the better part of an hour, no joke, these took me less than 15 minutes and it was only because I had three of them that it took me as long as it did. Setting them up on the same system, the same color, is easy, changing them is easy, changing the brightness is easy, everything about these bulbs makes life so much more simple. I wonder why I even spent the money on the other bulbs. I will be buying more of these in the future.

Very Impressive!I purchased a single bulb to try it out in an outdoor fixture by my garage to determine if I will get more. I don‘t do many reviews unless something is incredible or totally not worth the price. Right from opening the package I expected a quality product because I have other Linkind products that are still running reliably after years of use. Well, my expectations were far exceeded with this bulb, the build quality is exceptional, it‘s obviously a heavier than most indoor bulbs, closer to a BR30, but because it’s able to be used in an outdoor mostly enclosed fixture I am definitely not surprised. In operation, it not only operates flawlessly, reliably, but also very quickly almost like they upgraded the radio power. To be honest, I was expecting to have a distance issue being outside and having to shoot through a couple brick walls, but the Aidot app saw it immediately and setup in less than a minute. As for me, I will be getting at least 4 more for both outside and inside to put in strategic places for the effects it can bring to any occasion!
