FAQs

Does Linkind Smart Light Bulbs BR30 -1200lm support Matter?

+

No. This model is a Wi-Fi smart bulb and does not support Matter. It works with the AiDot app, Alexa, and Google Home without a hub. If you want Matter or Apple Home integration, choose the Linkind Matter Smart Light Bulbs BR30 - 1200lm instead.

Will these BR30 smart bulbs fit my recessed lighting?

+

They fit standard E26 sockets in most 5" or 6" recessed cans. Each BR30 bulb is about 3.74" wide and 5.04" tall, so check your fixture dimensions before ordering.

How bright are the 1200lm BR30 bulbs compared with the 650lm version?

+

The 1200lm version uses 14W and provides about the brightness of an 85W traditional bulb, making it better for brighter recessed lighting and larger spaces. Linkind’s 650lm BR30 uses 8W and is better suited to lower-brightness needs.

Do these BR30 smart bulbs work with 5GHz Wi-Fi?

+

No. They connect through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. During setup, use the AiDot app with a compatible 2.4GHz network; Bluetooth is also used to help discover and pair the bulbs.

Can I use these BR30 smart bulbs with a wall dimmer?

+

No. Traditional wall dimmers may cause flickering. Keep the wall switch fully on and adjust brightness from 1% to 100% through AiDot, Alexa, or Google Home instead.

Can I control multiple BR30 bulbs together or create lighting scenes?

+

Can I control multiple BR30 bulbs together or create lighting scenes? Yes. You can group multiple bulbs in AiDot for synchronized control and use schedules, preset scenes, colors, smart dimming, and Music Mode to customize lighting for everyday use, movies, parties, or holidays.
