Bought these for our backyard pergola, and they’ve been great. The adjustable white is the best part—6500K works well when I’m taking care of the plants, and we turn it down to a cozy warm tone for dinner. Matter setup with HomeKit was mostly smooth, though I had to rescan the code once or twice. The scenes in the app are useful, but grouping these with my other lights took a few tries. They made it through a Texas thunderstorm with no issues and no water getting in. A solid 4/5 from me.

I’ve had these on the front of our ranch-style house for about a month, and they’ve been great overall. Setup was surprisingly painless. They paired over Matter with my iPhone and my wife’s Android through Google Home without any drama, which is kind of a miracle in our house. Most evenings, we keep them on a warm white around 3000K, and it makes the driveway feel a lot less sketchy when I’m taking the trash out at 10 p.m. For the Super Bowl, I switched them to our team colors and synced them to music for a backyard hangout. The kids thought it was awesome.

We got hit with a big rainstorm followed by a surprise cold snap here in Minnesota, and the lights didn’t even flinch. No moisture issues or weird flickering. The app’s pretty decent too. I set a schedule to turn the porch lights on at sunset and off at 11 p.m., and it just works. My only gripe is that the color picker is a little fiddly on smaller phones, and I did notice some lag once when I was trying to dial in a soft blue. Not a dealbreaker, just mildly annoying when you’re standing outside in slippers poking at your phone.

Overall, they’re super versatile—cozy warm white for everyday use, then Fourth of July or Halloween vibes when we want them. They’re not perfect, but they’re solid and reliable enough that I’m not dragging out a ladder every season. An easy 4 stars.

We’re up in Minnesota, and yeah, I was kinda worried about the snow and cold. Like, last week’s blizzard? But so far, so good. It’s made it through two... no, three storms. The IP rating seems legit, I guess.

I set a schedule to turn on dim white lights at sunset for the dog walk, then switch to a softer amber later so it’s not, you know, blasting the neighbors. It works. Mostly.

The music sync was fun at a birthday party, though it was a little laggy—maybe half a beat or so. Not a deal breaker. It’s not perfect, but I’d probably buy it again.

Got these for the holidays and the kid’s backyard movie nights. The dimmable warm white is great for keeping the lights low while the projector’s running. The colors pop, but the blues are a little too intense. I had to do a full reset after a firmware update, which sucked. On the bright side, the scheduling is spot-on. They turn on right at sunset, which is super handy when I’m getting home from work. Nothing mind-blowing, but they get the job done.

These make the house look way more finished at night. Like, legit. It’s kinda crazy—it actually looks “done” now, you know? Lights, fixtures, whatever—they just work. Thought they’d be meh, but nope. Even the neighbors said they look nice. A bit pricey, though.

The lights stayed on all week, even though it was super rainy. They didn’t even flicker. I’m honestly kind of shocked—I thought they’d die by day three, but nope. Solid.

Got these for the garage. I thought they’d be a pain to set up, but they were actually pretty quick. The lights are bright enough, which kind of surprised me. I get home late from work, and now the driveway isn’t a black hole anymore. The sensor kicks in fast, so there’s no fumbling with my keys. My only minor gripe is that one mount was a little crooked out of the box, but I fixed it with a shim.

The cool white setting really comes in handy when I’m pulling into the driveway at night. It gives off plenty of bright light around the garage without feeling harsh.

t

The brightness was... better than I expected? Not blindingly bright, just enough to make the house pop a little. It stands out, you know? Autocorrect tried to change it to “blinding”—nope. Nice glow. 👍

I bought these mostly for Christmas, but somehow ended up using them year-round. Didn’t plan on that. They’re kind of perfect for tossing in a bag—good size, no fuss. Thought they’d just be a holiday thing, but nope. Mom-approved. Husband... not so much. I’m still buying more, though.

t

Okay, so my wife is kind of obsessed with changing the colors for every holiday—Halloween, Christmas, the Fourth of July, you name it. I used to try to help, but nope. Now I just let her do her thing. It looks good, though. I’m kind of surprised by how bright it gets. Sometimes the app glitches, or maybe I’m just fat-fingering it, I don’t know, but it still works. Anyway, she’s happy, so I’m happy.

t

The app can be a little sluggish on my phone sometimes, but the lights themselves work great. No complaints there.

t
text email

My son likes choosing random colors in the app every evening.

Put these up back in January, and they’ve already been through plenty of rain and wind. They’re still holding up great with no problems so far.

t

Took a little longer to set up than I expected, but once I got it connected to Google Home, it’s been smooth sailing. Everything works as advertised.

t

Kinda nice not having to take them down after the holidays, unlike traditional string lights. I leave mine up for months. Oops. But it’s fine. No fussing with taking them down, and it really does save time. They just stay up and still look good.

t
text email

I didn’t think I’d use all the colors, but surprisingly, I reach for pretty much every one.

t
text email

I use the warm white setting most evenings when I’m taking the dog out before bed. Love it—not too bright, just kind of cozy. Autocorrect sometimes changes it to “warn white,” but yeah, it works great.

Got these a few weeks ago, and I’m kinda surprised. I mainly use the warm white setting at night on the patio. It makes the yard feel cozier, and with the kids and dog out there, we’re not stumbling around. It’s bright but not harsh, with a warm yellowish color. The app says 2700K, I think.

Installation was fine, though the screws were tiny. They’ve made it through two rainstorms with no issues. The packaging was scuffed and the box was half open, so I thought something might be missing, but everything was there. I just wish the remote synced faster. Sometimes it lags, then suddenly starts working.

Overall, they do the job. The backyard feels more welcoming when we’re sitting outside, which is exactly what I wanted.

Okay, so... I kinda dig the adjustable white light, not just the RGB stuff. It’s way more useful. Sometimes I just need normal light for reading, not party mode. Autocorrect keeps changing “warm-ish” to “warmishh,” but whatever. Being able to adjust the white temperature instead of only the colors is a big win. The brightness is fine too, though it gets a little flickery sometimes. Maybe it’s just me. Anyway, RGB is fun, but the tunable white is the real MVP here.

Set up w/ Google Home was.. kinda easy? Took me like 10-ish mins, maybe 8, not sure—had to retry wifi once bc autocorrect changed my network name (ugh). App said “connected” then—boom—works. Voice command picks it up fast, but the first try didn’t, prob my mic? Anyway it’s up & running now—no cables mess, just plug-in, pair—done. Would recommend if you don’t wanna fiddle too much.

Switched the lights to orange and purple for Halloween, and my kids lost their minds—in the best way. They kept calling it “spooky cool” and now they want to keep the colors up all week.

WORTH IT

Got these a few weeks back—kinda surprised? I mainly use the warm white at night on the patio, makes the yard feel, idk, cozier. kids-dog out there, we're not stumbling. Bright-but-not harsh, warmish-yellow (app says 2700k? maybe).Install was… fine, screws were tiny tho. Weathered 2 rains no problem. Packaging came scuffed, box was like half-open—thought something was missing but it was all there. Wish the remote synced quicker—sometimes it lags… then suddenly works. Overall—does the job, backyard feels more welcoming when we're sitting outside, exactly what I wanted.

Fun purple party lights

Got these for my kid's birthday and the purple lights looked really cool. Kids got excited right away, kinda gave the whole room a party vibe. Setup wasn't too ba. Stayed on all night, no flickering or anything.
